Notes: 28 fols. The editions published in April and October differ in minor details, but they both contain the same compositions. For further information, see EitnerB 1877 and ClemenE 1927. Vecchi 1952 is a modern edition of the entire collection. These settings of hymns and odes by Prudentius, Virgil, Sedulius and others are similar to those by Petrus Tritonius (published in 1507 and later); EitnerB 1877 describes the Christian Egenolff reprinting of the Tritonius odes among anthologies. But although the title of the 1507 volume suggests that other musicians may have composed some of the settings, only Tritonius is named in the volume. Hence, his odes are omitted from the present catalogue. For a similar collection, see also RISM 155117. Edition of October 1533: D Iek - GB-Lbl - US-R.
