On fol. 1v: dedication headed "Bernardus Guarnerus typographus, Bernardo Altovitae Patricio Florentino S.P.D.," and dated "Lugduni ex Chalcographia nostra nono Calendas Septembres. Anno a Deiparae virginis partu sesquimillesimo vicesimooctavo," followed by a poem headed "Guillelmi Goberti Item Chalcographi Dialogus."
On fol. 2: preface headed "Item Chalcotypi ad Lectorem."
On fol. 81: table of contents.
This collection of settings of propers of the Mass for feasts of the highest rank includes intonations in chant; the Tenor is written throughout in chant notation.
The entire collection has been edited in a modern edition in RRMR 21-22.
The contents listed here give textual incipits for Responsory and Alleluia verses even where those are omitted in the 1528 table of contents, which lists merely the incipits of the polyphony. Thus, the Responsory verse for the Mass at Christmas (no. 3) is cited as "Finis primi versus. Justitiam.", and the Alleluia verse (no. 4) as "Finis secundi versus. Super omnem terram."
