Contemporary newspaper extracts from New London used as endpapers with notices dated December [17]97.; State of preservation: Browned throughout, heavily in places. Some pages chipped at edges with slight loss of text or notation in several instances. Tears to some pages, 2 paste-downs. Some staining.
