Ursprünglich enthielt der Band vier Messen, von denen die erste allerdings abgetrennt wurde und nun unter der Signatur Mus.ms. Bach P 16 zu finden ist (vgl. Korrektur auf der Titelseite sowie originale Tintenfoliierung).
Vermerk am Ende der ganzen Handschrift (f. 113v): "Fine | SDG | scrips. J. C. Alt | nicol".
