Notes: Partbooks titled 'Counter' and 'Bass'. Incomplete survival from presumably a much larger set of partbooks for village band containing carols and hymns for Christmas. Parts contain numerous cues for instrumental symphonies, choruses and vocal verses. Surviving partbooks have misplaced pages and many loose paper slips that may once have been paste-overs. Some items are copied or bound out of numerical order. Includes signature 'Edward Perkins'. Counter (alto) part is written an octave higher than sounding pitch as is typical for country psalmody.
