Manuscript is anonymous, but author is suggested as Lusitano in StevensonL 1962, which points out that some musical examples are identical as those in Lusitano's Introduttione facilissima.
See also BrannonB 2016 for discussion about authorship, this document's relationship to Introduttione facilissima, and its dating to around 1551.
Contents note: Includes the motet "Heu me domine" (f. 81v-82r).
