Auf der Titelseite unten von C. P. E. Bachs Hand "No. 9." (= Nummer im "Autographischer Catalogue von den Claviersonaten des C. Ph. E. Bach bis zum Jahr 1772 komponirt"); darunter von A. C. P. Bachs Hand "(14.)" (= Nummer im Nachlassverzeichnis C. P. E. Bachs von 1790; diese Nummer auch oben mit Bleistift). Spätere Bleistifteintragungen zur Identifizierung des Stückes und des Schreibers des Faszikels.
