The title page of the quinta and sexta pars reads: "LA CINCQUIESME ET SIX/iesme Partie du Cincquiesme Livre / CONTENANT TRENTE ET UNE CHAN/sons Nouvelles a Cincq & a Six Parties, Nouvellement / Imprimes en Anvers par Tijlman Susato, Imprimeur & Correcteur de / Musicque Demeurant aupres de la nouvelle Bourse en la Rue / de douze Mois L an M, D. LIIII. [sic] au mois decem. / Quinta & Sexta Pars. / [table of contents]." The other title pages follow the convention of the superius. On fol. 1v of the superius, contratenor, tenor, and bassus part books and on the title page of the quinta and sexta pars: table of contents. On fol. 1v of the quinta and sexta pars: dedication headed "AU MAGNIFICQUE SEIGNEUR GASPAR DUCHI CONSEILLIER / de la Maieste Imperiale: son chier Seigneur & amy, Tylman Susato. Salut.," followed by a preface headed "AUX AMATEURS." The Brussels copy is reproduced in facsimile in CEMF. SCChanson 29-30, pp. 297-299, distinguishes three editions of this anthology: a first (copies in Berlin, Brussels, Munich, Paris, Uppsala and Venice; that described here), a second (lacking the dedication; copies in The Hague and London), and a third (lacking the dedication; copies in Vienna and US-Cbrown).
