A collection of music for the viola da gamba. CrosbyD 1986 notes (p.21) that it was compiled, with items in the same key grouped together, by Philip Falle for his own convenience, mainly from printed sources in his own collection. Falle's references are detailed, and where two page numbers are given, the first refers to the solo part-book and the second to the continuo. This MS is not listed in Falle's own catalogue of his music (Durham Add. MS 154) |
