    Die ungenaue Komponistenangabe auf der Titelseite "Dell' Sig[nore]. Bach." wurde zuerst mit "J. S.", später mit "Carl Philipp Emanuel" ergänzt.
    Das Werk wurde früher teilweise J. S. Bach zugeschrieben, u. a. in der Ausgabe bei Breitkopf. Im Stimmensatz von J. S. und C. P. E. Bachs Hand (PL-Kj Mus.ms. Bach St 495) wird C. P. E. Bach als Autor genannt.
    Die Komposition ist enthalten in einem Konvolutband aus der Sammlung Poelchau mit Abschriften von Werken J. S. und C. P. E. Bachs, vgl. Collection.
