An international project as big as RISM is not conceivable without a wide range of financial, conceptual, and specialist support.

The RISM Editorial Center and the RISM Germany working group are projects of the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz, Germany. They are financed through federal and state funding.

The RISM working groups create the data that are published in the online catalog. The working groups are completely independent of the Editorial Center and are responsible for their own funding.

We would like to thank Antonio Ezquerro (RISM Spain) and John Lazos (RISM Canada/Mexico) for translating the catalog into Spanish.

Many libraries work together with RISM by having their collections cataloged by RISM or by making catalog data available. The Bavarian State Library and the State Library of Berlin provide direct technical resources for RISM.

RISM has contractual agreements in place with the following institutions:
Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, München
Clori, Archivio della Cantata Italiana
Glinka State Museum of Musical Culture
RISM Switzerland and RISM UK
Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Preußischer Kulturbesitz
Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM)
Virtual International Authority File (VIAF)

The RISM Editorial Center is very grateful to its RISM network.
