The piece consists of the fl duet Fk 57 laid out on the upper two staves of three-stave systems for an arrangement for cemb (2), the lowest staff is unnotated
t.p., pencil, referring to "dui Cembali", which has been underscored in pencil: "This is hard / to understand. / the Lamentabile - / a near Siciliano - / is a masterpiece. / W. F. B. used the term Lamento / in two other / compositions, / the d-minor/ Polonaise (of 1765) / and a cembalo / Sonata movement. / G. B. W."
