The whole composition has a kind of a dust cover who dates of a later period of the manuscript. On this cover is written: "Litt. [underlined:] V, no 11.600, [blue point] [not more underlined and in pencil:] FRW / W. [underlined: Fr.] Bach / Concerto pour Clavecin. / [seal of the library] / [incipit]"
